Position: Secondary Math Location: Glen Lake Middle or High School Reports to: Building Principal Pay Rate: Per GLFT Contract Start Date: August 2026 Qualifications: ? Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in education from an accredited college or university or enrolled in/have completed an alternate pathway to certification required. ? Must be Highly Qualified and Endorsed for this position with: A Michigan Teaching Certificate, Secondary Teaching Certificate and Math Endorsement of EX required. ? Thorough understanding of the College Prep Mathematics curriculum Responsibilities: ? Have a relationship approach to classroom management ? Teach district approved CPM curriculum, using instructional best practices that support student ownership and empowerment ? Intentionally plan and design the learning so that students have the opportunity to learn in whole group, small group, and individualized instruction ? Use formative assessments to continue to drive lesson planning and learning ? Evaluate student performance, provide timely feedback, and maintain accurate records of student progress and grades. ? Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student performance, progress, and concerns. ? Actively participate in department and school-wide curriculum development and decision-making. ?
